I've worked on several initiatives with the Transformers team. An exciting challenge of this project was combining cost-effective mechanical solutions with big personality. Sqweeks was coordinated to launch on schedule with the Transformers feature film.
Getting the model and rusty deco at cost was part of the challenge. We also successfully integrated rc features and a sensor in the arm that activated a ”blaster” mode. Hinging the helmet to tip forward and back when it started and stopped added another touch of character.
And now with the blaster equipped!
