remote work / national inventors hall of fame

Each year, the NIHF welcomes a new class of Inductees who have made exceptional contributions to society. Hosted in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the Induction event gives attendees the opportunity to celebrate alongside the world’s foremost inventors.

I had the honor of attending as Lonnie Johnson was being recognized for his contributions to NASA and NERF Super Soaker. They seated me at a shared dinner table with Alois Langer, the inventor of the Implantable Heart Defibrillator. Later in the evening I met the family of Marian Croake. Her voice over internet protocol (voIP) enables all video calls we make today.
